I love getting things in the mail. Even if I ordered them, and I know exactly when they'll arrive, there is always that sense of excitement when I see a new box or package sitting by my front door.
Now, today's package was completely expected and hotly anticipated. This is my order of the first official print run (read: notARCs) of The Underground. There were a few changes between these and the ARCs, most visibly shifting from a matte cover to a gloss, but oh my goodness... look at these pretties!
The most exciting part for me, apart from holding my books in my hands, is that I managed to smash through my deadlines and get these done three whole weeks earlier than anticipated. I did this so I can get them ready for some promotions that will be running, so watch this space.
